One Liverpool gem has been singing the praises of Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas.

There has been no let-up for the Leeds star since the Premier League season finished earlier this month.

That’s because the 30-year-old is already back playing for Northern Ireland and managed 86 minutes of a 3-0 win over Malta on Sunday.

Dallas was replaced late on by 17-year-old Liverpool sensation Conor Bradley.

And the Reds’ talent has admitted that replacing an ‘unbelievable player’ like the Leeds man for what was his international debut only made the occasion that bit sweeter.

He said when asked how it felt to replace Dallas: “Even better, even a bit more sweeter. Obviously, he is an unbelievable player, Stuarty, and what he has done in the games [is] superb. So, a bit nicer to come on for him, the captain, and get my debut.”

Dallas, a £1.3 million signing by the Elland Road club in 2015, was an absolute revelation for Leeds on their return to the Premier League last season.

He started every one of the 38 games Marcelo Bielsa’s side played and managed a total of eight goals.

During his last two seasons in the Championship, the versatile midfielder only scored nine times so that right there illustrates that the player has been loving life in the top flight.

As for Bradley, well the future is bright in regards to the next generation of Northern Irish players.

The reason why he earned an international debut this early is because of his performances for Liverpool Under-23s last season.

There’s a lot of talent there and learning from somebody like Dallas can only be a massive feather in his cap.
