Kieran Trippier has claimed that reported Liverpool target, Jude Bellingham, has ‘so much quality’ in training, as posted by the Mirror.
Eurosport claim that Liverpool are keeping tabs on the England teenager in a bid to lure him to Anfield.
This isn’t the first time that Liverpool have tracked the 17-year-old’s talents because, when he was on Birmingham City’s books, they wanted to secure his talents back then.
But instead, the midfield technician opted to move to Germany and sign for Dortmund, where he is now one of the rising stars in world football, alongside his club teammates, Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.
Nonetheless, with Trippier sharing a training field with Bellingham whilst on duty with England, he shared what the box-to-box midfielder is like.
“When I see the likes of Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Jude Bellingham in training,” said Trippier. “You just think, ‘for such a young age, they have got so much quality’.
“You look at the seasons that they have had – Jude in the Champions League. A 17-year-old and the performance that he put in against Man City just shows the talent he has got.
“We have got so many good players now in the England set-up. It’s crazy. But they’re so mature for their age.”
Well, at the age of 17, Bellingham will be heading to the Euros after he was selected in Gareth Southgate’s final 26-man squad.
Teenagers have thrived before on the England stage – Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen in the modern era and Bellingham will be hoping to follow in his footsteps.
If he can thrive like Rooney did in 2004 then Bellingham’s stock will only go through the roof and he may find that several of Euro’s giants will be hunting him down for his signature.
