Julen Lopetegui is comfortable at Sevilla amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to Mundo Deportivo.
It has been reported that Tottenham are interested in appointing Lopetegui as their new manager.
However, the former Real Madrid boss is happy in Seville.
The 54-year-old signed a new contract with Sevilla in January 2021 and is not planning to leave now.
No Tottenham Hotspur move?
Lopetegui has done well at Sevilla, and it really would not make sense for him to move to Spurs this summer.
The Spaniard won the Europa League with the Andalusian club in 2020.
Sevilla will also play in the Champions League next season.
Tottenham will not even play in the Europa League next season.
Of course, Spurs are a big club and would be able to offer Lopetegui a huge salary.
However, the former Spain boss will know that there is also a very good chance that he will get sacked at Spurs if results are not good.
Spurs have been searching for a permanent manager since April when Jose Mourinho was sacked.
The Telegraph has claimed that Paulo Fonseca is confident that he will become the new manager of Spurs.
Fonseca left AS Roma at the end of the past season and could prove to be a good managerial appointment for Spurs.
